Setting up a Windows cloud server on Go2Cloud is straightforward. Follow these steps:
1. Log in to the Go2Cloud control panel.
2. Click "Add New Server" to open the server creation dialog.
3. Select your desired CPU, memory, and disk resources. For Windows Server, we recommend at least 2048 MB of RAM and 40 GB of disk space.
4. Under the operating system options, choose the pre-installed Windows Server image from our library.
5. Set a VNC password for initial console access.
6. Click "Create" to provision your server.
Once the server is running, use the VNC console to complete the Windows setup wizard, set your administrator password, and configure networking. After the initial setup, connect via RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol) on port 3389 for a full graphical desktop experience.
Remember that you will need a valid Windows Server license for production use. Evaluation licenses are available from Microsoft for testing purposes.
